Senior Strategist

To join our elite strategy team, you will have a minimum of 5 years experience gained from a marketing role within the head office of a top retailer or, from a brand/retail background within a consultancy and be comfortable working with Director level and above.

Commercially minded, you will be able to analyse new opportunities in the market, identify how best to target customers through a range primary research techniques and understand how to grow a new retail/brand proposition within a business.

Curious about people and passionate about brands you’ll have a mind to challenge the findings of consumer and commercial data, analyse and simplify complex information into tangible recommendations and discover meaningful insights to be used in the design of communication, environmental and online spaces. Strategic marketing expertise across different markets and categories is an advantage.

As part of our team, you’ll be expected to attend new business meetings, write proposals, prepare strategic presentations and facilitate workshops. Working alongside the creative team, once you’ve articulated the brief and appropriate activities, you’ll be managing the strategic phases of multiple projects, maintaining correct levels of strategic direction and ensuring delivery of outstanding strategy throughout. In addition to your experience, knowledge and razor sharp brain, you’ll be hyper articulate and confident, yet down to earth; a creative thinker and a great communicator who can connect with clients and consumers alike, as well as the wider internal team of the studio. Being able to speak European languages would be a huge advantage. An abundance of energy and a good sense of humour go without saying; the 20.20 team enjoy what they do.
