The Garfunkel’s Coffee House website that 20.20 designed has gone live today. The site accompanies the first coffee shop offering from Garfunkel’s that opened in Edinburgh just before Christmas.

20.20 worked on the brand identity and communications for both the virtual and physical site for this new coffee concept. Having already developed a new identity and communications suite for the Garfunkel’s restaurant brand, we were then asked to turn our attentions to the Coffee House after a clear opportunity for a format like this was identified in Edinburgh.

After the successful launch of LOVE Life last summer, Waitrose have rolled out the second phase of the range that 20.20 defined the customer proposition and brand strategy for. LOVE Life You Count hits the shelves this week and offers customers lower fat versions and calorie controlled portions of their favourite breakfast, lunches, dinners and snacks. With colourful and clearly marked calorie counts on the front of the pack, it enables the customer to watch their weight and diet in an easy, accessible and tasty manner and offers another perspective on healthy eating.

20.20 Partner Mariann Wenckheim has been invited to speak at The 2nd European Home Improvement Forum taking place on 31 May – 1 June at Disney’s Newport Bay Club Convention Center, Paris. The event, hosted by EDRA and fediyma (the European Federation of DIY Manufacturers) will present an unmissable opportunity for representatives of the leading DIY companies to discuss the developments which are already changing and shaping the markets.

The first Garfunkel's restaurant incorporating the new identity and communications developed by 20.20 has opened in Ludgate Hill, London today.

This is a completely new site that portrays the new look and feel that 20.20 have worked on for the restaurant chain to help revitalise the brand.

Arsenal statues

Arsenal Football Club has today honoured a trio of Club legends by unveiling three statues outside Emirates Stadium, 20.20 worked with the Club to set the creative brief and art direct the production of the statues.

Innovative 1930s manager Herbert Chapman; defensive stalwart Tony Adams and goal scoring hero Thierry Henry have all been commemorated by the bronze statues, which were today unveiled at Emirates Stadium by Arsenal Chairman, Peter Hill-Wood.

Mariann Wenckheim, partner and director at 20.20, delivered a keynote speech at the yearly retail conference of EFMI Business School in Nunspeet, Netherlands last week.

EFMI is a Dutch business school that focuses its research and executive programs entirely on management issues in the food industry and is affiliated with the University of Groningen.

Last night the WM Club at Emirates Stadium played host to the final leg of the Design Bites tour run in conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.

The aim of the tour was to link eating and drinking with cutting edge design and the venues were chosen from those shortlisted for a Restaurant and Bar Design Award earlier this year. 20.20 were of course honoured to be asked to represent the WM Club alongside Arsenal Football Club.

Waitrose are launching LOVE life - a new range of delicious and nutritionally balanced foods - in stores nationwide from June 30th. 20.20 worked closely with the Waitrose team to develop the customer proposition, brand strategy and design direction for the new range.
