Debenhams CEO, Rob Templeman appointed 20|20 to transform their Home department into the destination for customers who want “fashion and style” for their homes.

Whilst Debenhams owns the provenance of ‘Designers at…’, most of their customers only relate to this on the Fashion floors but did not carry it through to the Home floor.

A combination of the floor layouts, dense merchandising, a lack of any discernable product landscaping and clear signage meant that the great merchandise stories were all but invisible to the customer.

The new Liverpool store is a truly contemporary environment, responding to their customers’ lifestyle, where strong product landscaping ensures that the own label and branded ranges are clearly presented as 'good, better, best'.

The new POS concept makes ‘Heroes’ of the real designers and always talks to the customers in a knowledgeable and conversational way.

The result is just like shopping in a 3 dimensional catalogue - informed, colourful and easy to read.
