Pets At Home News
Pets at Home has been sold to the US private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) for nearly £1bn; coincidently this falls on the 4th anniversary of 2020 working with Pets at Home.
In January 2006 we were appointed by owners Bridgepoint Capital and the Pets At Home management team to work with them on creating a market leading retail brand and store experience.
Our work, creating the new brand identity and developing an evolving store environment over the past four years, has helped Pets At Home significantly grow customer numbers, increase average transaction value and most importantly improve customer advocacy.
Our latest store concept opened in New Malden, in December 2009, to great acclaim. Bringing to life a new customer vision – a place of interaction, with a permanent events area, a new reptile experience, destination aquatic centre and a ‘small animal’ adventure park. Customer service has been enhanced and added to a greater emphasis on own label product ranges and displays.
