When TUI UK had the opportunity to purchase two new cruise ships, they engaged us to translate our successful design concept from Marella Discovery 1 and 2 to the newest addition to their fleet, Marella Explorer. The different size of the ship meant that TUI could expand its choice on board for customers, while retaining the playful essence of the Marella brand.

We worked closely with Marella to identify which concepts could be transferred over successfully as well as identify opportunities for new concepts within this footprint.

Marella Explorer has fleet favourites including Snack Shack, Coffee Port, Kora La and Hideout. We were able to reimagine and reinvent spaces and bring new and exciting food and entertainment concepts to life. We created 15 spaces including Indigo; the signature nightclub, bar and casino with 360 views. New foodie spaces include Umi Sushi, British pub Squid and Anchor and contemporary Italian restaurant, Vista.
